Maybe We’re Not Who You Think We Are

Maybe We’re Not Who You Think We Are

Homogeneity: the quality or state of being all the same or all of the same kind.

One thing we learned in this past election, I’d think, is that we can’t continue to classify and compartmentalize people by labels: gender, race, ethnicity, education, geography, or ridiculous testing instruments. When we do, we treat people within the labels as if they are all the same in the way they think, act…..and vote. This has proved unequivocally false.

And that applies to all of us. We’re individuals, not some homogenous mass in a common “drawer.” Welcome to individualism.
