(KAATN)

I’ve provided mentoring services since 1996 to a global constituency of entrepreneurs and boutique firm owners. I’ve provided sophisticated coaching to business executives since 1985.

That frees me up to provide a new, very intensive development experience combining my executive coaching models with entrepreneurial and solo practitioner needs: Supercharged Coaching.

Whereas mentoring is reactive with the onus on the person being mentored to initiate contact, coaching is proactive, based on developmental needs, metrics for improvement, and timelines for accomplishment. I’ve engaged in such “affirmative” coaching with executives in Allergan, Calgon, Merck, Hewlett-Packard, Toyota, Mercedes, American Institute of Architects, New York Times, and State Street Bank, just to name a few of hundreds of client organizations.

What It Includes

I’ve kiddingly dubbed this KAATN (kick ass and take names). The coaching will include:

  • A seven month engagement
  • Creation of developmental behavioral and skills objectives
  • Metrics for success
  • Deadlines, timelines, and accountabilities
  • Mandatory weekly phone calls
  • Personal meetings as desired and we deem appropriate*
  • Unlimited email
  • Unlimited review of work
  • Unlimited additional phone calls

In this relationship, I will call you, write to you, and haunt you if I must to help you achieve the specific goals we have agreed upon. These may be strategic (new markets, build the firm, create new brands) and/or tactical (role-play meetings, review presentation tapes, create better proposals).

Rather Important Output

Here’s the major point: We will work together on pre-determined goals—and may add additional goals—with me providing specifics on what you need to do, reviewing your work, and following up with you, prodding you, and proactively contacting you to generate accelerated progress.

Do you want to write a book? Create new web copy? Start and populate a blog? Penetrate a new market? Launch new media presence? Reduce your personal labor intensity? Save more money? Globalize your business or practice? Learn new OD skills? Resolve interpersonal issues undermining your performance? Better deal with your hard-earned success? Improve troubled relationships?

Then this is the accelerated approach for you.

Obviously, I’m taking on very few people and am offering this first to my communities.** KAATN is a seven-month, intensive coaching relationship to meet your important short-, medium-, and long-term business and personal goals.(My PhD is in psychology, and this coaching will include personal and family issues if you so desire. I’ve been providing this on request over the past several years.)

You may start at any time. There are no “breaks” or “freezes.” The program is ongoing for the seven months. We will be in contact weekly. Or, at least, I will!

Your Investment

The greatest investment you’ll make here is your commitment to respond to someone who is driving your progress, and to incorporate the needed actions into your life.

The financial investment is $17,000. That amount is payable in full on commencement. Or, you can pay $10,000 on commencement and $7,500 in 90 days. (Note that if the second payment is not made the program will stop with no refunds for any reason. Nor are there any refunds of any payments in this program for any reason unless I cancel your participation because I feel you do not want to be helped, which will provide a pro rata refund.)

(You may reserve a space with your payment to start at a designated time in the future, since this is limited participation. But we WILL start on the date you choose!)
