Maturity Doesn’t Always Occur

I saw The Hunt for Red October for perhaps the sixth time last night in my hotel room. The acting is universally superb.

Why couldn’t Alec Baldwin have stayed that way?

Absolutely agreed! Alec was at his best, not to mention chose a really meaty role. James Earl Jones said in interviews that Baldwin could learn pages of script, alot of it challenging monologue, overnight.

Frankly, his Dr. Ryan is still the standard for me, above Harrison Ford, whom I love, and of course the awful ones who’ve followed.

Will have to catch up on Yellowstone. Thanks for the recommendation.
