The Top 11 Reasons to…..

The Top 11 Reasons to…..

Okay, someone has to say this in a public forum: The crap on Linkedin about “best leaderships styles,” “what happens when you age,” “identifying toxic behaviors” and so on, complete with AI cartoons, charts, graphs (“slop”?) are just nonsense, like someone throwing dirt agains a wall to see what will stick. There's no research, no empirical evidence, just someone's random thoughts or AI-produced requests to try to gain some attention. (Remember when there were all the sob stories about a tough life and then it was “look at me now” and there would be a glam shot of the writer?)

There are some thoughtful people on Linkedin and an occasional contribution well worth reading, but they drown in this sea of sanctimonious, shallow, self-promotion.

When I asked my son about Linkedin almost 20 years ago he said, “Really, it's just a huge time dump.” It does seem like cerebral quicksand, sucking your time away without stop unless you extricate yourself, or some helpful samaritan throws you a line.
