Alan Weiss’s Monday Morning Memo® – 6/11/12
June 11, 2012—Issue #142
This week’s focus point: The New Jersey Devils have come back from 0-3 to make it 2-3 against the LA Kings in the National Hockey League championships, the first time in 60 years that’s been done. The Boston Red Sox, down 0-3 to the Yankees in the 2004 American League Championship came back to win the series 4-3, never done before. There’s a ninth inning, a third period, a final minute, a last shot. You’re only assured of losing if you don’t keep playing. In business, if you feel the odds are stacked against you, play harder, play smarter, but play ALL the way. We all lose at times, but the real winners never give up.
