Changing Plans

Changing Plans

Folks, you need to get to a point where you don’t feel horrible, or actually waste your time, because you’ve purchased non-refundable airline tickets and someone else has altered the schedule. Either recognize that as a risk and live with it, or buy refundable tickets, they’re not that much more expensive and provide far more flexibility. (I’ve had people who asked me to refund their money because I’ve had to change meeting schedules.)

Move away from a “scarcity/poverty” mentality and toward an “abundance mentality.” This isn’t a matter of income. I’ve seen people who are very successful continuing to do this.

No one schedules or makes decisions around the payment methods and travel restrictions of participants.
