Hey, Honey, Can You Put Me Down for 2:15?

Hey, Honey, Can You Put Me Down for 2:15?

Just because you have an opinion—even about something that works well for you—doesn’t mean it’s valid for others and that you have the right to preach it as if you’re on a higher moral plain.

A guy on Linkedin wrote of his eight daily activities which “provide for a positive day.” One of those, in addition to exercise and “being outdoors,” was “spend time with my wife.” You have to plan to spend time with your wife? Is it on your calendar? Can you postpone it until later or tomorrow?

I think having to plan to spend time with your spouse is comical, and perhaps just plain dangerous. And to preach this nonsense to others, well, that’s like telling me that plodding over hot coals will increase my confidence and get me a better job, whereas it’s more likely to get me to meet some EMTs.
