I Really Didn’t Send It, I’m Trying to Drive You Crazy

The default position seems to be: “I didn’t receive what you were supposed to send, and that’s your fault.”

“But 20,000 others received it, you’re the only one who didn’t. It didn’t bounce. What does that tell you?”

“It’s not in my spam folder or junk mail. It’s therefore your fault. Send it again.”

I expect some day soon I’ll find a person so self-centered that they will actually implode before my eyes. In fact, I imagine that after this coming election, a lot of people who feel they occupy the high moral ground alone are going to experience their heads exploding.

Or maybe they’ll wind up in spam purgatory.
