If You Want Good Work You Can Find It

If You Want Good Work You Can Find It

I heard someone on a diatribe the other day, pontificating about the lousy economy, inflation, the declining market, and the lack of jobs.

There is no lack of jobs, and I’m not jus talking about low level jobs. Firms need help for high paying jobs. The unemployment rate has fallen to about three percent, which is really zero since that represents people who really have no intention of finding work.

Markets fall and corrections take place in order for longer-term growth to occur. No economy simply grows without setback. if we do have a recession (or are in one) it won’t be like the past, not with low unemployment it won’t.

Maybe some people won’t find their ideal job (e.g., getting paid while sitting on the beach). But as my colleague Larry Winget wrote in his book, It’s Called Work for A Reason.
