Near and Far

Push away what you don't want near you, attract and participate in what you do want near you. Physical distance also creates psychological distance. If social media upset you but you insist on reading them every day, that's your decision. If your kids live far away and you choose not to visit them or call them regularly, that's your decision. Modern life can be difficult, but why make it worse by surrendering your options and living by other people's metrics?
