We hear a lot about “resilience” which is valid, bouncing forward after a setback and not being derailed.

But the real emphasis should be on preventing the setback. That keeps you on track and at full speed.

If we’re smart and plan well, we can look back over our shoulders at all those people being resilient while they’re delayed overcoming unexpected obstacles.

Mike Tyson’s famous quote: “We all have a plan going into the ring until we’re punched in the jaw.”

Well, maybe the plan should include not getting punched in the jaw. I’m just sayin’….
