A Day At the Office

A Day At the Office

The Patriots beat the Titans last night as they should have, one of the very best teams in the league playing a team that is lucky to even have a winning record. New England fans started leaving in the third quarter to beat the traffic and get out of the cold.

All this despite the media frenzy trying to create a rift among owner Bob Craft, coach Bill Belichick, and quarterback Tom Brady. That’s what the media do, they try to create controversy rather than simply report facts. But for the Patriots it’s simple “another day at the office” and they focus on the task at hand—winning the game.

We all face distractions every day. Too often we allow them to divert us from our true priorities and having a quality day “in the office” (or at the client). Shut out the frenzy and focus on your work. You’ll find that the more you focus, the more successful you’ll be, and the more success you are the more you can shut off the frenzy.
