And Now the News

And Now the News

I am shocked when I recommend that people read the Wall Street Journal daily to best understand the business environment—and which also has excellent arts and sports sections—and the response is that it’s too much trouble. I read it when I was in Paris and London and Melbourne over he past few months. It’s delivered to my door. You can read it online if you prefer.

But this is one factor that explains why people are so ill-informed today. Not only does it make them less effective talking to executives and business owners, but it makes them far less an object of interest to others in general.

And I’m suspecting that people no longer have sufficient reading skills. The can’t read fast with comprehension. More lasting damage from a declining public school system.
