Can We At Least Learn?

Can We At Least Learn?

I'm an independent voter, and I'm making what I believe is an empirical observation: In retrospect, it appears that the suspension of schooling, closing of stores and restaurants, mandatory masks, and restrictions on travel during Covid were overreactions and, in many cases, unnecessary and not supported by the evidence. Can we possibly learn something from the political and scientific conflicts that robbed kids of years of their lives (and their socialization), bankrupted some businesses, and prevented families from assembling on important occasions?
