Considering the Source

Considering the Source

Everything from the New York Times to social media have lists advising us on what to do for the new year about our health, travel, diets, entertainment, relationships, and so forth. Who says? Why is there the belief that we all have poor judgment or need some help from “experts” who simply have access to a keyboard or a platform?

I recall too many times when I was at a conference or convention listening to a speaker who was overweight, twice divorced, a chain smoker, and using poor grammar, advising the audience to “take control of our lives.”

Gimme a break. And stop advising me to eat kale, which even rodents won’t touch.
