Dumb Ass Stupid Management: Go(of) Go(of)
GoGo is the internet provider on some airlines, and on my Alaska Air flight from Boston to Seattle today it was very erratic. It took my money, but some web pages wouldn’t open and eventually email just stopped. I wrote to them to tell them about the problem, figuring they might want to look into it.
First, some guy asks me to call him, which I have neither the time nor intention to do—GoGo has already wasted enough of my time. Then l I get automated responses that, since I’m writing from a different email address, “for security reasons” they can’t respond unless I use the original address.
Honestly, what are these operations thinking about? It’s certainly not the customer.
