Enjoyment and Importance

Enjoyment and Importance

if you really enjoy doing something that has great import to others, you have a “calling” and success.

If you really enjoy doing something that has only interest for you and don’t need others, you have a stimulus or an addiction (whether harmless, like playing Angry Birds, or harmful, like drugs).

If you don’t enjoy something that is of great import to others you are in a grind and “sacrificing”  (perhaps a “prisoner” in someone else’s business).

If you don’t enjoy something that is of no import to others then you are irrelevant, merely surviving.

You can’t always change what’s important to others, but you can always change what you do so that it’s enjoyable. It’s called “changing jobs” or “going out on your own.”
