Free Day With Me
You read that right. I’m paying back my extended community for your support and interest.
On December 12 I’m presenting Alan Unplugged at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, RI. I have secured a $119 room rate if you’re interested.
To register, you must send me a check made out for $50 to the East Greenwich Animal Protection League. This is deductible and is to ensure people don’t simply reserve a spot and not show up. You must include your email address with your check. If you are from outside the US, you may send an international money order or pay in US funds at the door if you write me in advance.
I’m even buying lunch! We go from 9 to 4. Many people who have signed up have not sent their email addresses, so I can’t keep them apprised of anything and they’ll whine to me that they don’t know what’s going on! So include it!
If you intend to write to tell me that a $50 contribution to animal welfare means it isn’t a “free” day, don’t bother coming.
People routinely spend $10,000-$20,000 for a day with me. I’m happy to do this for you. Seating is obviously going to be limited, and when the room sells out, we’re done.
Do not call or write. Send your check (no credit cards accepted) to me at Box 1009, East Greenwich, RI 02818. Include your email address. You cannot save a spot by calling or writing unless you’re from outside the US.
I’m not selling a thing. There will be no books on sale, nothing, nada. Just a day of learning, networking, and fun. Happy to do this for you.

Guess I was unclear – the bad joke was the line about “the check is in the mail,” which is the punchline (or the setup) to any number of old chestnuts. In any case, you should have received it by now.
