Hypocrisy

Hypocrisy

Can someone explain why so many retail stores and coffee shops won’t accept any bills over $20 when the twenty-dollar bill is the most counterfeited of all the US denominations?

You know who always has change of a hundred and will always provide it? The local car wash.

I drove our pickup truck on the interstate not long ago, which I seldom do. I stayed in the right lane and was doing 68 MPH. I’m used to far more power, and far more comfort at speed, so this seemed prudent. Everything else on the road passed me. This included semis, buses, RVs, landscape trucks with trailers, and so forth. The average speed was 70+ (and I admit I’m normally a part of that pack) with some people clearly over 90 MPH. The speed limit is 55 in those parts. Why are we such hypocrites?

If you stopped every single person leaving a popular restaurant at night, and gave each one a breathalyzer test, how many would fail?
