If They Can Do It With Adults, Why Not Kids?

If They Can Do It With Adults, Why Not Kids?

The Masters golf tournament is concluding today, and they treat is as some kind of religious experience. (Augusta, where it’s held, had to be shamed and threatened into allowing women and minorities into the club years ago). Virtually everyone who is among the top 20 or so finishers is already a multi-millionaire. The winner of this year’s tournament collects $3.6 million and a truly ugly sports jacket.

I man was removed from the course crowds for running to watch at the next hole (not allowed) and cell phones are forbidden  (they have booths with landline, public phones). There is high security, strong discipline, and tremendous respect and sportsmanship displayed.

Perhaps the folks at Augusta National Golf Club should run the public school system.
