Letter Imperfect: Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow, nor brains….

Letter Imperfect: Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow, nor brains….

Every single postal manager in Rhode Island would be fired if he or she provided the same level of performance in the private sector.

They don’t return calls or respond to letters of complaint. One gave me a non-working number on the message he did leave.

Four of my bill payments have gone missing, and two venders who have to follow up tell me that several of their customers are experiencing this.

I sent a local, first class letter on September 12 to Providence with an incorrect zip (although the address could have obviously been used anyway). It was returned to me today, on October 28.

Is there a “best and brightest” in the postal service here, or just “dumb and dumber”?

Send in the clowns. (Don’t bother, they’re here.)
