Marking Myself “Safe” (I don’t expect you to care)

Marking Myself “Safe” (I don’t expect you to care)

I'm marking myself “safe” after a power outage forced my daughter, son-in-law, and twin, 16-year-old granddaughters to spend a couple of days with us.

In reality, they were great, no trouble, we had a wonderful time at the pool. The add to our lives.

(Probably my character flaw, but I loathe the practice of people marking themselves “safe” on Facebook during some natural disaster, as if everyone is desperately worried about them. Tell your close friends, fine, but otherwise, how arrogant! My usual reaction is, “Gee, I'm not sure who these people are and had no idea where they lived.”)
