The amount of people on social media, particularly Facebook, who carp and criticize as if they are the experts is astonishing. They know more than medical experts, the state department, the police, business executives, business owners, and on and on. And then they fill their buckets with confirmation bias, welcoming those of like, narrow minds, and viciously attacking those who disagree.

I’ve been to some of the great parks, palaces, and public spaces in the world, and I’ve never once seen a statue of a carper.

    I agree with you completely. Many who cannot create anything positive or helpful themselves, find it beneficial to criticize others instead… I’ve heard this many years ago: There are two ways to have the tallest building… you can build one, or you can destroy all other buildings. And there are a lot of destruction attempts all over.
