One-Off

One-Off

If people are overwhelmingly supportive and positive about something you’re doing or providing, ignore the oddball, one-off feedback. This is the person who may just not be able to grok what you’re intending, or who is trying to gain visibility by taking shots at you. But you can’t respond to this lonesome, negative feedback or you’ll bounce around like a ball in one of those Japanese pachinko machines.

And by no means try to change what you’re currently, successfully doing. This kind of feedback is the pothole in the road to success. Just drive around it, don’t ruin your tires.
