Silver Linings

Silver Linings

My bank used to have a rather insulting sign at the door, “Please remove hats and sunglasses.” Not there’s a sign that says, “Please do not enter without a mask.”

We use to have non-profit board meetings which some people couldn’t be bothered to get to. Now we have consistently full attendance on Zoom.

There were once lines and aisles where people would bump into you and cough and sneeze on you. Now everyone keeps a distance.

We used to miss a lot of great programming on various media, now we eagerly find it.

Sushi can’t “get cold” when you take it out and bring it home.

I had stopped watching the overpaid prima donnas in major league baseball, and the drama queens playing soccer pleading for penalties, and I don’t miss a thing.

But I do still miss valet parking.
