What Is A “Democratic Socialist”?

What Is A “Democratic Socialist”?

Socialism is a political and economic philosophy wherein ownership and control of production is in the hands of the state, not in private hands. There is governmental control over industries, resources, distributtion, and so forth, in the name of a more “equal” society. The Nazis called themselves “National Socialists” (Nationalsozialistische is abbreviated as “Nazi”).

What it delivers in poverty, tyranny, and vast misery. Only the few at the top dictatorially have a good life, at the expense of all others. We learned this in grammar school. Today, a great many people, apparently, never learn it.

Venezuela, the Soviet Union, and Cuba are just some examples of vast socialism failures where only those at the top are well off, and rule by blunt force and removal of freedoms.
