Super Bowl Thoughts

Super Bowl Thoughts

Much as I love Clydesdales, my favorite Super Bowl commercial of all time was by FedEx: A caveman had to get something delivered immediately, and handed his package to a Pterodactyl. Before the reptile could take off, it was stepped on by a Tyrannosaurus. FedEx then pointed out the wisdom of using their services.

The games have usually been terrific, but the commercials have declined precipitously in humor and originality over the years.

But the way, if you want to watch the football game, the commercials, and the half-time show on your large-screen TV, when do you, ah, take a “break”?
