The Brilliance of Women’s Basketball

The Brilliance of Women’s Basketball

What does it take to make women’s college basketball a sensational hit? Only top players displaying great talent, discipline, and accountability, despite ethnicity, color, background, or any other “identity.” Oh, and no one demanding quotas to determine the composition of the team or who’s on the court at any given moment. If you want to win, you start the best players.

I also love the individuality. Most of the LSU payers wear more makeup than the cheerleaders, and that doesn’t hurt Angel Reese’s brilliance. And Caitlin Clark hasn’t yet determined just how far away she can reliably shoot from. Paige Bueckers thanks God in every interview she gives post-game. I’m waiting for the protests! Ju Ju Watkins shows tremendous presence and talent as a freshman. And all of these women seem to highly respect each other.

This is a great tournament. (I don’t think UConn could beat either LSU or Iowa from what I saw last night.)
