The Mad Dashers

The Mad Dashers

Watching a stage performance—and this includes Broadway—when the curtain comes down but before it rises again and the performers take their bows, there are always a dozen or more people racing up the aisles to beat the crowds and claim their cars or grab a cab instead of acknowledging the performers and enjoying the celebration at the end. Saving 15 minutes is more important than savoring the final 15 minutes.
