Walk Away from Irrational Anger

Walk Away from Irrational Anger

When you find someone overreacting to a disagreement or minor inconvenience or political belief, remember two things:

  1. Such anger is usually self-anger, redirected outwards to preserve that person’s psychological well-being.
  2. Intermittent Explosive Disorder is a borderline personality dysfunction whereby uncontrolled anger is vented without any sense of proportion or relevance.

Walk away. We see this too frequently in “road rage,” and it’s often manifest in “life rage.”
