Welcome to Prague

Welcome to Prague

After an outstanding meeting and one final dinner with the Million Dollar Consulting® Million Dollar Club, we said our goodbyes and left Monaco this morning. We flew to Paris and connected to Prague.

Air France (as did British Air earlier) managed to serve a very good hot meal in business class (there are only two classes of service domestically within Europe) on a mere 80-minute trip, with two beverage services. The Prague Airport is wonderful, modern and quick. Not one, but TWO limos were waiting (an Amex foulup) which even I couldn’t find a use for (Maria refused to ride alone).

The Mandarin Oriental is in a 16th Century building which was a Dominican Monastery. Our suite is named after Ludwig Moser, a famous fine glass manufacturer. It’s an enormous set of rooms with typical Mandarin Oriental service (you never go to a reception desk and you’re served tea as you depart the limo and there is Champagne, fruit, and candies in the room) in the midst of this beautiful old town. Prague is 1,100 years old and was the seat of two Holy Roman Emperors and also served for a time as capital of the Holy Roman Empire.

We’re having a dinner of traditional Czech food. More to come.
