What Was I Going to Write? Oh, Yeah…

What Was I Going to Write? Oh, Yeah…

One of the reasons we don’t retain good ideas and salient points is that we don’t use and apply them immediately. If you see a quote, or a phrase, or a new word, or a statistic, or whatever that you feel may be useful, then apply it a soon as possible. Don’t await “the right moment,” which will never come—create the right moment. The greatest reasons for short-term memory loss is lack of use, and the greatest reason for long-term memory loss is short-term memory loss! (There’s also cognitive decline, of course, but that can be delayed and decreased by building memory.)
