Alan Weiss’s Monday Morning Memo® – 10/8/12

Alan Weiss’s Monday Morning Memo® – 10/8/12

October 8, 2012—Issue #159

This week’s focus point: No matter what your politics, the first Presidential debate showed that the camera is always on you; preparation is vital; energy is essential; rules are almost always broken at some point; and this is an age of instantaneous communication and viral opinion. What does that mean for us? Be careful about your non-verbal behavior, stay in the moment, frequently express interest, be physically and emotionally fit, and manage the messages you need to send. Monday Morning Perspective: How glorious it is–and also how painful–to be an exception. — Alfred de Musset, French dramatist and poet

Vote for the gull!: If you’re so inclined, help me in the beach photo contest and vote for #3, Heavenly Gull. There is no cash prize, just a competition for best photo. Vote here, and thanks, I need your vote: http://www.ward-realty.com/point-pleasant-beach-photo-contest.html
