Returning to Rutgers
I was asked to visit Rutgers in Newark to have lunch with eight elite students in the Honors Program. The intent is to bring very successful graduates together with high potential students. The library archivist provided a nice “gift” during my tour by displaying the yearbooks and newspapers I edited (and won awards for) during my four years at the school. It was a wonderful day. For the record: Rutgers Newark has the most diverse campus of any university in the country; it houses the Institute of Jazz Studies and the Institute of Animal Behavior, both globally famous. And now me!
