One of the things I like about dogs is that they expect you to share your food with them, sort of a cultural requirement, in return for their continued presence and attention. They simply sit and stare at you while you eat, creating an obligation.
Try not saying anything when your prospect stops talking. Just stare. Allow the buyer to fill the silence. They’ll generally ask you what you think or what you would do, given their situation. That’s when you provide value in return for their retaining your continued presence and attention.
