The Future Population

The Future Population

We have a declining both rate that has multi-generational implications. We have longer-lived elderly, whose demographic is, therefore, increasing. We'll need continuing immigration and AI to compensate for the physical and mental labor loss.

If you don't believe me, watch the investments by business. The overwhelming number of ads we see on TV and in publications: memory loss, heart problems, erectile dysfunction, incontinence, diabetes, hair loss, energy boosters, assisted living, hand rails for the home, automated assistance calls via computer devices. I believe geriatric medicine will be a huge field. (The geriatric medicine market is experiencing rapid growth, with the global market valued at approximately $158 billion in 2023 and projected to grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of around 7.5% to ove r$330 billion by 2033.)
