Please Pass the Fork

Please Pass the Fork

People often arrive at the metaphoric fork in the road. Many feel they can just keep charging straight ahead rather than stop to analyze which of the actual routes makes more sense in order to reach their goals. Sometimes they merely follow the herd in which they’ve taken cover. Sometimes they go tentatively down one route, then retreat to take the other.

You need to follow your passion, take the side of the fork that best represents it. Build a new road if you have to.

Yogi Berra famously and erroneously observed, “If you come to a fork in the road, take it.”

It’s not Yogi we should be following these days, but rather Yoda.

“When you look at the dark side, careful you must be, because the dark side looks back.”
