What A Coincidence!

What A Coincidence!

Have you ever encountered someone you know in a completely different environment, like an airport, or a restaurant in another town, or a vacation spot? We were in Venice once and my wife heard someone from our home town calling her name from the Ponte di Rialto. We’re always “astounded” and ask, “What at you doing here?!”

But have you also considered the people you have missed because you didn’t turn around or were looking in the wrong direction? There may well have been far more of them than the people you actually identified.

The same holds true in our work. At your clients, look around. Don’t be overwhelmed and blinded by your immediate project. You’ll find things that are “familiar” to you and for which you can add value, which you can mention to your buyer. You just have to widen your field of vision.
