Defaulting

Defaulting

Look around. The default position for most people and businesses I’m observing is to find the “routine” again. It’s as if someone has stopped twisting arms, and now it just feels so good we should all be thankful.

In my view, the “through line” (the “connecting theme” in drama) is innovation. The journey is upward, never level. All plateaus eventually erode. If you’re not climbing, you’re not trying. And climbing is about innovation.

Are you improving your business, even incrementally? Are you urging your clients to significantly create and improve, or to “settle back in”?

I’m no physicist, but the only people I’ve ever seen coast with speed and efficiency were going downhill.
