Dumb Ass Stupid Management: The Restaurant Industry
Look, I’m just a humble consultant eking out a living for my family. I only have three advanced degrees, I didn’t have time for more. And I’ve just worked with about half the Fortune 500, I never did work for the rest.
So with those limitations considered, may I suggest to the restaurant industry, that if you decreased the size of your portions and didn’t touch your prices you would both immediately improve your margins, improve the health of the American public, and reduce tremendously wasted resources. Your customers wouldn’t care, they’re not finishing what’s on the plates now.
Piles of fries or a piece of fish that would choke a Great White are not required for one’s basic health or well-being. “All you can eat” buffets should be banned by the board of health.
