Education, Sooner or Later

Education, Sooner or Later

I’ve never seen intelligence and education as mutual requirements. That is, I’ve been with a lot of highly educated people who aren’t very smart, and a lot of very smart people who’ve had little formal schooling (or poor schooling).

However, if you’ve become successful with little education, then you should be intelligent enough to pick it up later in life. You need to know how to use spoken and written language, what historical events have created the current world, and where countries and peoples are located geographically and why. We need an appreciation of art and an understanding of science.

To perpetuate success and contribute optimally to society, we need the power of knowledge, which just may grant us some wisdom.
