High Resolution Boredom

We bought a honking big, new TV for the master bedroom, but its capabilities were beyond the Apple III TV I have hooked up. So I went online, ordered Apple TV IV and received it a day later (of course). However, all of its automated features for setup gave me trouble, including complex passwords and convoluted steps. So the next day I simply opted for “manual” in the setup every step of the way, and had it working in five minutes.

Now I can see every blade of grass on the golf course, every curve on the green, the perspiration on the players’ faces.

Of course, it’s still a dull, boring sport, and watching it with better resolution is equally boring. But the football games…..
