Maybe We Should Raffle Off Cars at the Polls

Maybe We Should Raffle Off Cars at the Polls

On Super Tuesday (tomorrow) there are 1,344 Democratic delegates to be pledged. About 1,990 are needed to secure the nomination without “brokering” at the convention. The average eligible voter turnout in the past has been 60% or less on Super Tuesday. In the 2016 Presidential election, it was estimated that over 40 million eligible voters of all affiliations didn’t vote.

This all reminds me of running a non-profit arts group. It’s hard enough to get people to show up and fill the seats, let alone get them to like the performance.
