Now’s the Time
One post-pandemic phenomenon that fascinates me is what I see as a rise in immediate gratification. The tourism and hospitality industries are roaring. People are no longer saying, “Some day we have to do that,” but rather, “Let do that now.” That also applies to consumer spending, which is steadily increasing. The old adage that “life is short” has been transmogrified to “life can end at any minute.”
The same should be true for businesses. The time to launch the new product or service is now. The opportunity to enter a new market is now. The window to invest is now. We’ve learned that businesses can end at any minute, as well.
