School Days

School Days

Royce starts Puppy School tomorrow, twice a week for eight weeks. He’s seven months and 70 pounds, and can hit 32 MPH. Those of you who are physics majors, figure out that impact. He has to have with him his breakfast, a non-squeak/non-plush toy, proof of his vaccinations, and a binder/notebook in which his progress is recorded. School is a full day. He gets homework to ensure application of his learning.

Thank God the teachers’ union isn’t involved in this school or he’d be learning how to bark all over again in 12 steps.

I’m betting he retains a lot more than some of the people I’ve seen in school and workshops…
