Spinning

Spinning

I heard this morning that the National Football League has passed a rule that a player cannot spin the football on the field in celebration unless he has scored a touchdown! You can’t spin it for a first down, a catch, a tackle, or any other reason, or it’s a 15-yard penalty. Only a touchdown merits spinning.

This is a league concerned about drug use, concussions, and lengthy delays due to instant replay rulings, and the anti-spinning rule is what they’re concerned about.

Kind of makes you think these may be the same folks running Hewlett-Packard.
