You Think You’re Good? Compared to Whom?

You Think You’re Good? Compared to Whom?

I was watching a dance company that I thought was very good. I was sitting alongside a choreographer whom I knew. I asked her opinion. She didn’t hesitate: “I’d say a six out of ten,” she said.

The perspective of an expert, someone with a wider range of knowledge and a larger frame of reference, is hugely important. Rhode Island cites two of its schools as best in the state, for example, but neither is even in the top hundred nationally.

Provide your clients with that larger perspective to improve their growth. Otherwise, they breathe their own exhaust.
