Frame Changing

Frame Changing

IF you want to provide values simply and rapidly, practice reframing.

There has always been a need to hire replacements. But today, you have to be careful filling yesterday's job instead of anticipating tomorrow's.

“Toxic workplaces” may exist, but are they caused by an uncaring management or by “toxic employees”?

There are brilliant people around in their fields, but that doesn't make them expert in all fields. The late Tony Hsieh was a brilliant corporate leader selling shoes at Zappos, but his management philosophy (“holacracy”) was absurd. That's why entertainers making political statements are not very credible.

A company's mission, as Peter Drucker pointed out, is to have a customer, but not all customers are equal in their value and the customer is not “always right.”

Don't be lead by aphorisms or platitudes or by people commenting well outside their actual fields of expertise.
