Since I began my Crisis Coaching programs, I’ve also begun confirming all my calls for the following day, either the prior afternoon or early in the morning. I simply send a BCC email to maintain privacy to those scheduled, asking for a reply only if someone needs to reschedule. About ten percent do, which is a far higher ratio than my prior in-person business meetings or my regular coaching programs. I understand that people have last minute conflicts, or forget, or aren’t up to it. That’s their decision. But I want to make sure I use my time wisely and this is a very quick and painless preventive.
And I do flip out a bit when someone sends me an email five minutes after our scheduled time to tell me they can’t make it.
