Field Day

Field Day

(A “field day,” from the military and maneuvers in the field, is today used to denote a time of fun and excitement.)

Small businesses are being overwhelmed in post-pandemic business. Many are understaffed. Owners and employees are working long and hard to make up for lost business. But are they creating “future lost business”?

Phone calls aren’t answered. Deliveries are late. Service is slipshod. Common courtesy is lost. Overbookings create havoc. Fatigue creates errors.

These businesses need help in transforming the current demand in business into future, continuing, evergreen business. They need help in avoiding human “meltdown.” They need help in attracting and retaining talent. They need help in working smart and not hard. They need help in being opportunistic but not avaricious.

If you can’t attract small to medium-sized business clients today, then you’re in the wrong line of work or you’re just lazy. (Or, maybe you’re too frenzied yourself.)
